The new single from Late By Twenty - the solo project of Islander Dave Priddle - brings together the iconic sounds of country music, from twangy banjos to guitar slides.
Perfect for fans of Luke Combs and Brad Paisley, Her Dance is Dave’s second single and features musicians from Argentina all the way to Nashville.
Recorded separately by the respective performers, the tracks were collated through the Fiverr website and then mixed at Tide Studios in London.
Dave has been performing for years but has only recently broken into the UK country music scene with his solo project, Late By Twenty.
Speaking about his love of country music, Dave said: “I’ve played every type of music imaginable in the past: jazz gigs to pure rock and everything in between. I have always kept country music to one side, just for me.”
Whilst Dave sings the vocals, Her Dance features Bluegrass player Dante Sesin on banjo and Latin drummer Esteban Rotunno - both of whom hail from Argentina - as well as Nashville performer Jonah Krull on guitar and David Twigg on percussive pianos.
You can stream Her Dance by Late By Twenty, as well as the debut single, Mystery Woman, on Spotify now.
