Fun days have been held in Ventnor and Sandown, to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
Sandown's fun day, on Saturday, involved stalls, music, and plenty of activities in the local pubs, including the Castle Inn, the Caulkheads and the Old Comical.
Santa was spotted, as was the Grinch.
In Ventnor, on the same day, there were markets at Ingrams Yard - a new venue created by Ventnor Exchange - and St Catherine's Church.
The church fayre was in aid of St Catherine's School and raised more than £1,800.
Elsewhere in the town there was a lantern parade and Christmas carols in the park.
