Five pharmacies will open on the Isle of Wight on New Year's Day.
Pharmacies are only listed if they have notified NHS England that they will be open, and opening times may vary for some pharmacies.
They are as follows:
New Year’s Day
- Kemkay Chemist, Avenue Road, Freshwater – 10am to 1pm.
- Day Lewis Pharmacy, High Street, Newport – 10am to 1pm.
- Boots the Chemists, High Street, Ryde – 10am to 4pm.
- Lloyds Pharmacy, The Esplanade, Ryde – 2pm to 5pm.
- Jhoots Pharmacy, The Broadway, Sandown – 2pm to 5pm.
An NHS spokesperson said: “We would ask people who may need to order repeat prescriptions to please submit them in good time, and not leave them to the last minute.
“We are also asking anyone who is worried about their medicines to arrange a medication review with your practice pharmacist, nurse or doctor in the New Year.
"It is important to make sure you are taking the right medication at the right dose and that you are getting the best out of those medicines.”
