Drivers heading in and out of Ventnor can breathe a sigh of relief, after Island Roads said a main road through the town 'should' reopen today (Friday).
Southern Water repairs at the Graben, at Newport Road and Ocean View Road, have been completed.
The road is now in the process of being re-instated.
News of the road reopening would help alleviate disruption getting to and from the town.

The Graben closure coincided with Leeson Road, the main route between Ventnor and Shanklin, being shut due to a large landslip.
At Newport Road and Ocean View Road, a dip appeared in the highway, following damage to a sewer.
It has meant traffic has only been able to access Ventnor via Whitwell Road.

To 'reduce' disruption, Island Roads put in a one-way system between Whitwell and Godshill.
But it meant drivers have had to go via Niton and Chale Green — a lengthy diversion.
Island Roads has said the Graben 'should be re-opened by 5pm this evening'.
