Most of those evacuated from their homes following a major landslip in Bonchurch, can now return, the Isle of Wight Council has said.

But there are a small number of properties that are still being advised not to return, the local authority has confirmed.

Further technical assessments need to be completed in the coming days.

Risk assessments undertaken today show that the majority of properties are a sufficient distance away from the most affected area.
