Isle of Wight residents are being evacuated from their homes in Bonchurch tonight (Sunday), after a landslip in the Leeson Road area.
Emergency crews are on scene and the Bournemouth-based NPAS police helicopter is flying overhead.
The areas near the Smugglers Haven and Devil's Chimney beauty spots are affected.
The Isle of Wight Council has told the County Press it has officers at the scene, assessing the situation.
The toilets in the car park at Smugglers Haven have collapsed, the County Press has been told.
Police are knocking on doors in the area and Leeson Road is closed.
This is not the first moment in the area this year. Last month, the lower village and cliffs to the sea suffered slippage.
A wall collapsed, opposite the church on Bonchurch Shute and trees fell into the picturesque village pond.

It led the Isle of Wight Council to issue a safety warning, amid further fears of rockfalls.
