The Isle of Wight has been issued a yellow weather warning for heavy with travel disruption expected tomorrow (Monday, December 4).
Heavy rain will affect the Island during Sunday night and Monday, with the Met Office warning in effect from midnight through to 6pm.
Around 20-30mm of rain is expected, with a few places seeing as much as 60mm.
The Met Office has warned of potential flooding of a few homes and businesses, as well as spray and flooding making journey times longer.
A spokesperson for the national forecaster said: “Give yourself the best chance of avoiding delays by checking road conditions if driving, or bus and train timetables, amending your travel plans if necessary.
“Be prepared for weather warnings to change quickly: when a weather warning is issued, the Met Office recommends staying up to date with the weather forecast in your area.”
