A barn was destroyed by fire in Bowcombe overnight, with the damage evident this morning (Friday).
At least 10 pumps and two water carriers were called to Bowcombe Farm Lane, just before 12.30am, including some brought from Hampshire.
Crews from Newport, Cowes, Freshwater, Ryde, Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor attended.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said the barn was derelict.
A fire engine and police car remain at the incident this morning (Friday) and crews have been damping down.
