ISLE of Wight police are carrying out enquiries to establish how a man died following an incident in Ryde last night (Friday).
Officers, together with paramedics, were called to an address on Union Road in Ryde at around 10pm.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said paramedics were tending to a patient, and a man, aged 33, died at the address.
“His family has been informed,” said a spokesperson for the force.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained, and we are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances of how the man died.
“A post-mortem will be carried out in due course.”
