THE Isle of Wight Asian Cultural Club held its annual Diwali event earlier this month.

Hosted at Freshwater Memorial Hall on Saturday, November 4, around 140 people celebrated the festival of lights.

Among the highlights on the evening was an Indian classical musical in Krishna Malini, henna art, and food from Spice Central and Bollywood Zumba.

The special event raised £274 for charity.
