A CHEF accused of subjecting his partner of more than four years to anything from physical abuse and keeping track of her every move with cameras, to making false allegations to the police about her, will stand trial before an Isle of Wight court.

Kirk Hall, now of Meadow View Road, Sheffield, denies engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship, between April 1, 2019, and September 6 this year.

He appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Friday, November 10.

Magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case and bailed the 45-year-old to reappear, for a plea and trial preparation hearing, at the Isle of Wight Crown Court, on December 11.
