As the Isle of Wight prepares to remember those who died in battle, on Armistice Day, which marks the end of the First World War and on Remembrance Sunday, crafters are also playing their part.

Incredible creations are springing up across the Isle of Wight.

Post box toppers are always a popular sight, but at this time of year they play a poignant role too.

From saluting soldiers to Land Girls in dungarees and from a Spitfire flypast to boots on the ground, incredible knitted and crocheted creations are ensuring the efforts of those killed are front and foremost in our minds.
