A 23-year-old East Cowes man has admitted possession of indecent photographs of children.
The case of Reece Anderson, of Vectis Road, was heard at West Hampshire Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, November 1.
He will be sentenced at Southampton Crown Court on November 22.
He was granted conditional bail.
He was charged with three counts of possession of an indecent photograph / pseudo-photograph of a child.
The court heard that on October 7, 2021, at Southampton, he had in his possession 38 Category A indecent images of children - the worst kind. The court was told that 25 were still images and 13 moving.
He also had 16 Category C images and 117 Category B images.
