The popular Long Lane Christmas lights display will be back for 2023, homeowners Terry and Sue Ramplin have announced.
They are currently battling the wet weather to get as much set up as they can during the rare dry spells, ready for their 24th festive season.
They are pleased to announce that up to 300 men will be able to get checked for prostate cancer this weekend, thanks to money raised from their display.
The couple's chosen charity, the Isle of Wight Prostate Cancer Support Group (IWPCSG), helps Island men who have been diagnosed with the illness and also arranges PSA testing events for those over the age of 40.
Testing takes place in Newport this weekend.
Geoff Waddington, from the charity, said the £5,000 donation will go a long way.
Earlier this year, he told us: "Each event costs about three and a half to four thousand pounds. This is going to cover one event and Terry wants us to cover the Newport event which is what we'll do.
"There's so many men dying with it so they need to get tested. 15 minutes of your time to save your life."
Over the last two decades Terry and Sue have raised tens of thousands of pounds for various charities.
This year the lights will be switched on at 6pm on November 25.
