Are you a young musician aged between 11 and 21?
Do you have a love of playing or writing music?
Are you keen to take it a step further but need financial help? If so, West Wight Arts Association may be able to help.
The association has a long tradition of encouraging young aspiring musicians to take that step further, by offering a bursary to successful applicants.
You could be a promising instrumentalist, whether it is classical, jazz or pop, or you could have a flair for song writing, film music or even a whole symphony!
Recently, the bursary has helped Ellen Petitt, Florence Tweddle and Thomas Luke, among others.
The group is holding bursary auditions on February 24, 2024, and the closing date for applications is Monday, January 15, 2024.
If you would like to apply, contact Pam Wedgwood, Hill View House, Bedbury Lane, Freshwater, PO40 9PD.
Alternatively, email pamwedgwood@yahoo.co.uk or call 07729 938893.
