SIX flood warnings are now active for the Isle of Wight – with three more issued late last night (Saturday).
The latest warnings are for Carisbrooke and Hunny Hill on the Lukely Brook, Yarmouth, and Gurnard Pines to Marsh Road at Gurnard.
With the tide level forecast it is expected that flooding will affect the ferry terminal car park and ticket office for around one hour each side of high water, which is at 10.22am.
Flood Warnings remain active for Cowes, East Cowes and Newport, Sandown Brading and Bembridge, and Whitwell, Wroxall, Langbridge, and Alverstone.

Multiple flood alerts are also still running on the Isle of Wight, for the coast, Simeon Street Recreation Ground in Ryde, Lukely Brook, Gurnard Luck, and the Eastern Yar.
“Please take action to protect yourself and your property and monitor local weather and river conditions,” said a spokesperson for the Environment Agency.
“Avoid contact with, walking or driving through flood water.
“Consider activating any property flood protection products you may have.”
