WITH more rain on the horizon, a new flood warning has been issued for the Isle of Wight.
It means two warnings are now in place, for Sandown, Brading and Bembridge, and for Whitwell, Wroxall, Langbridge and Alverstone.
Both warnings relate to the Eastern Yar, and there are also a flood alert now active for the Isle of Wight coast.
“Please take action to protect yourself and your property and monitor local weather and river conditions,” said a spokesperson for the Environment Agency.

“Consider activating any property flood protection products you may have.”
It comes after a yellow weather warning for rain was issued for the Isle of Wight and South East England.
The Met Office warning comes in during the early hours of Saturday morning, at midnight, and runs through all of Saturday, until 6am on Sunday.
It is just days after severe flooding affected hundreds of homes and businesses across the Island.
