A uniform swap shop is being organised, by Aspire Ryde and Ryde Town Council, at the Aspire Ryde Community Hub on the High Street.

Donations are wanted, including sweatshirts, trousers, skirts, polo shirts, shirts, shoes, ties, blazers, school bags, sports kit and trainers.

Drop items to the Ryde High Street shop, before the event.

Swappers can bring further items before grabbing a bargain, between 10am and 4pm, from Thursday November 2 until Saturday, November 4.

Christmas jumpers can also be swapped  - including ones for adults.

Organiser Alison Pearce said:  "It is a great way of recycling uniform, which is often barely worn."

Note, you cannot donate underwear or socks.
