An Isle of Wight high street shop swap means an independent arts and crafts business will not shut after all.
Last month (September) it was announced Isle of Sweets - Wool and Craft Centre, on 52 High Street, Shanklin, would close its doors come December.
A post on the shop's Facebook page said it would continue to operate online.
It said: "I can not thank you all enough for your very valued custom and I will look forward to serving you through my website.
"You’ll all be missed so much, I’m hoping that you all continue to support me on my new venture."
However, it has now been confirmed the shop, which also sells sweets, will not shut, after all.
It will move a few doors down to a new building, at 44 High Street.
Owner Jonathan Dennis told the County Press: “I appreciate all the lovely comments and supportive messages, and I’m so excited to be able to carry on running this lovely business.”.
The store will stay where it is until December 24.
It is due to open its new building on January 1.
