A weather warning for heavy rain has been issued for the Isle of Wight.

The Met Office is warning of occasional downpours from tomorrow evening (Thursday).

It is in place for the whole day on Friday (13).

What to expect according to the Met Office

  • Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
  • Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
  • Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer

The warning comes into force at 9pm tomorrow.

It will last until midnight on Friday, the forecaster has said.
