A fundraising Dash in the Dark saw hundreds of Islanders run around Seaclose Park last night (Saturday, October 7), in aid of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
The event is best known for its neon tutus and torches, and this is the second consecutive one to have taken place on the Island.

The Isle of Wight County Press's Oliver Dyer was among those to take part in the fun run and he spoke to some of those taking on the course - Marianne, Jo and Jane.
They told us they had seen, first hand, the crucial life-saving work carried out by the volunteer medical teams.
Pledging to be back next year, they said it was even more important because we live on an Island.

This year, 400 runners set off and it is thought more than £12,000 has been raised.
The runners were encouraged by the music of Raw Samba and on stage entertainment.
Events are also held on the mainland.
