Police investigating the discovery of what is believed to have been a significant haul of cocaine on the Isle of Wight and in Dorset are appealing for a litter-picker to contact them.
Earlier on Saturday, a group of people who were collecting litter on a West Wight beach found a suspicious package.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary says it is speaking to those who were in the vicinity and it is trying to find a man believed to be aged in his 60s.
He is described as:
- Slim build
- Around 5ft 6ins tall
- With short grey hair
- A birth mark on the right side of his mouth
He is asked to contact Isle of Wight police, as their joint investigation with the National Crime Agency and Dorset Police continues.

On October 2, a Dorset fisherman found suspicious packages containing powder and alerted police.
Today, packages were discovered on a West Wight beach.
Police say dial 999 if you find something similar.
