The kitchen fire spread quickly, causing extensive damage, as their photographs, posted on their Facebook page this afternoon (Thursday), showed.
The pictures show extensive fire damage to the wooden beams supporting the kitchen's ceiling and roof.
The pub has closed since, with the entrances taped off while fire investigators look into the cause of the blaze.
But the popular venue is expected to open shortly.
In a message to their customers, Smokin' Jack's management also posted: "Just to update you all, the clean up is done, new beam is in, so shouldn’t be too long before we see y’all again."
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service investigators said the fire involved an extractor fan.
Two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a covering jet and a short extenson ladder were all used to bring the fire under control.
