The Isle of Wight's floating bridge is once again out of action today (Monday).
The East Cowes to Cowes chain ferry will not run from 8am, the Isle of Wight Council has confirmed.
The reason given for the latest grounding is 'important maintenance', the council said.
Work is expected to take most of the day.
A replacement launch service for foot passengers and cyclists, the Jenny Lee, will be in operation on either side of the Medina.
A spokesperson said: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

The vessel only returned to service last month (August) following a software glitch.
It came at one of the busiest times of the year for Cowes - Cowes Week.
Visitors to the annual sailing regatta had to catch the Jenny Lee, instead.
