FOLLOWING on from a successful event earlier this year, Solent Art Painters are holding a second exhibition this September.
The newly formed art group, fresh from their exhibition at Quarr Abbey, are showcasing their work at Ryde Library this month.
They have filled the upstairs gallery with paintings in varying styles and mediums.
They each have their own unique style but share a common interest in Isle of Wight landscapes.
Outdoors, Elise Barnard paints with watercolours several times a week, and is particularly inspired by light on the sea.
Carol Way is an enthusiastic painter of flowers, and Simonne Mason has painted extensively in watercolours, oil and ink, and even exhibited in France.
Meryel Boyd paints in oils and watercolours, and her exhibition offerings will include paintings from her extensive travels.
For the first time, emerging artist Mike Harvey will also be exhibiting his landscapes of the Isle of Wight.
The exhibition runs throughout September and is open from 9am to 5.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, from 10.30am to 7pm on Wednesdays, and from 9am to 5pm on Saturdays.
