HOMES and businesses in Lake on the Isle of Wight are without power this afternoon (Saturday).
Scottish and Southern Electricity (SSE) engineers were called out to the area at 1.08pm.
It has affected 11 postcodes — namely PO36 0AN, PO36 9EE, PO36 9HF, PO36 9HG, PO36 9HT, PO36 9JL, PO36 9JN, PO36 9JW, PO36 9PX, PO36 9RP and PO36 9RR.
SSE predict the power supply will be restored to affected postcodes by 5.30pm.
The company has apologised for the loss of supply, but if customers require more information, call them on 105 and quote 'MK2133'.
UPDATE 5.17pm
Power has now been restored to all affected areas of Lake.
