A 16-year-old Isle of Wight boy, arrested following an armed police response to East Cowes on Bank Holiday Monday (28), has been bailed.
As previously reported by the County Press, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary officers descended on York Avenue at 5.50pm.
They were called to reports of the concern for the welfare of a boy at an address on the road.
Officers, with riot shields, attended and various weapons, including a knife and an air gun, were seen.

Specialist officers were deployed to ensure the safety of the boy, officers and members of the public, police said.
A 16 year-old boy, from the town, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of threats to kill.
He has since been bailed with conditions until November 28.
The incident saw the bottom of York Avenue closed to the public and vehicles were unable to access the Red Funnel terminal for a time.
Businesses and residents were caught up in the cordon and the Co-operative was cleared by officers and closed.
Mainland police with 'extra skills' were drafted in and a police dog was also on scene.
Police had left the scene by 11pm.
