Crash at Morton Common just outside Sandown Isle of Wight

Emergency services are attending a crash just outside Sandown this afternoon.

Traffic is delayed around the area of Morton Common, towards Brading - just past the railway bridge.

Traffic heading towards Brading is being diverted back toward Sandown via Perowne Way, and traffic is backed up along Broadway.

An ambulance is in attendance, and the incident is being helped by a passing-by retired firefighter.

An eye-witness said a casualty was being treated on the ground.

Police are not yet in attendance.
