WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.
Thanks to Island Roads, we have provided a handy selection of some worth avoiding.
TOTLAND: Colwell Common Road will be shut for utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Wednesday.
Also, Highdown Lane and Weston Lane will be closed for carriageway repair works, along their entire lengths, between 8am and 4pm daily, from Monday until Wednesday.
WHITWELL: Kemming Road will be shut for utility works, between its junctions with High Street and Niton and Whitwell Bridleway 17, from 6.30pm on Monday until 6am on Tuesday.
NEWCHURCH: The Chase will be shut for utility works, along its entire length, from 7am on Wednesday, until 5pm on Thursday, August 10.
Also, Princelett Shute will be closed for carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Little Princelett Shute and Newport Road, between 8am and 4pm daily, from Wednesday until Friday, August 4.
VENTNOR: Castle Road will be shut for utility works, between its junctions with Gills Cliff Road and Zig Zag Road, from 8am on Monday until 5.30pm on Friday, August 4.
EAST COWES: Greenlands Path will be shut for drainage works, along its entire length, from 12.01am on Monday until 11.59pm on Friday, August 4.
BROOK: Brook Shute will be shut for carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Dunsbury Farm Lane and Brook Road, between 9.30am and 3.30pm daily, from Monday until Wednesday.
BRIGHSTONE: Coastguard Lane will be shut for carriageway repair works, along its entire length, between 8am and 4pm daily, from Monday until Wednesday.
BRADING: West Lane will be shut for carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Coach Lane and Harding Shute, between 9.30am and 3.30pm daily, from Wednesday until Friday.
Also, Green Lane will be closed for carriageway repair works, along its entire length, during the same period.
SHANKLIN: Western Road will be shut for carriageway repair works, along its entire length, between 9.30am and 3.30pm daily, from Wednesday until Friday.
