A teenager decided to brave the shave as a thank you to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Rufus Strickland, 16, took on the challenge to raise money for the charity as a thank you for the support and care Macmillan has given his family.

Both his grandads and his aunt have had battles with cancer and he really wanted to help in some way.

Rufus is autistic and is taking part in the Prince's Trust programme, putting him on the path to achieving his goal of becoming a teacher and helping children with learning difficulties.

His father Marc said: "He has done remarkably well and we are super proud of him. His final total raised was over £900."
