A sinking vessel has led to a major rescue operation off the Needles on the Isle of Wight.
HM Coastguard was alerted to reports of a motor cruiser taking on water.
The call came in shortly after 6am this morning (Thursday).
Yarmouth RNLI and Freshwater Independent Lifeboat were sent to rescue 14 people, who were on board.
The coastguard helicopter from Lee-on-the-Solent was also tasked to provide safety cover, while the crew were transferred to the lifeboat.
Lymington and Needles Coastguard Rescue teams were also called.
