Radio 1 DJs Sian Eleri and Sarah Story will be broadcasting live from the Isle of Wight today.
It is part of the national Giant DJ Hunt which is taking place across the country, fronted by Greg James.
He is taske dwith finding 30 Radio 1 presenters and today listeners helped him discover Sian and Sarah in West Quay in Southampton this morning after a "wild dinosaur chase" on the Island proved fruitless.
However the Radio 1 mobile unit had been spotted on the Island yesterday, firstly in Newport then on Cowes Parade.
The clue given, "moo", led a listener called Giles to call in with the news the mobile unit had been spotted in Cowes.
Greg said: “If you are on the Isle of Wight, I need you desperately. Are you in, sorry on, the Isle of Wight. We don’t get enough people from the Isle of Wight, I have said that for ages.”
Leads about dinosaurs led listeners to wonder if the DJs were at Dinosaur Isle or Blackgang Chine or the Jurassic Golf in Shanklin.
However, they were actually across the water, at Five Guys in West Quay with a statue of a dino called Big Sara.
They are now travelling over to the Island, one on the Red Jet and one with the University of Southampton's Sailing Club, and whoever gets there first will present a show at 11am.
Greg said: "We started on the Isle of Wight this morning and we are going to end it on the Isle of Wight.
"What a morning so far."
