No structural damage has been caused to Ryde Pier after a yacht crashed into it.
Safety and engineering and estates teams inspected the damage yesterday morning (Sunday) and found no structural damage had been caused, Wightlink has confirmed.
From 9.30am yesterday, the pier was fully open again as usual.
A yacht collided with Ryde Pier at 7pm on Saturday and became stuck.

No-one was hurt.
The pier was closed to traffic for safety reasons and the boat was removed.
The pedestrian walkway remained open.
Wightlink’s FastCat sailings were not affected by the incident.
The yacht was not taking part in the Round the Island race.
