AFTER months of closure and being on the market, a popular Isle of Wight cafe and pizzeria is back in business.
Gurnard Press, on Worsely Road, is set to reopen later this month.
On Wednesday, June 28, new owners Michele and Ava will unlock the doors and welcome in customers.
On December 30 of last year, the building closed and its previous owners were searching for someone new to take the business on in the New Year.
Michele is a professional chef, food safety consultant, restaurateur, nutritionist, and chef trainer, and runs the Four Seasons Cookery Academy.
Ava, likewise, is a professional chef, as well as a personal license holder, hospitality and customer service trainer, events organiser/manager, and cookery workshop leader.
“We are excited and privileged to introduce ourselves as the new owners of this much-loved cafe, which is reopening very shortly,” said Michele.
“We have worked together in the hospitality sector since Ava was just six years old.
“We enjoy a very special nanny-granddaughter bond and have created many memories working together over the years.
“This exciting new venture will bring our skills together, and we look forward to welcoming you to our new joint business partnership.
“We will also be joined by other members of our family who come together to support us.”
