A one-of-a-kind project for military veterans on the Isle of Wight is to feature on BBC's The One Show tomorrow (Friday).
A short film has been produced by Island-based People Media Productions.
It charts the work of former servicemen John Dugdale and Dale Hillier, who opened The Veterans Hub — a lounge where veterans can drop in for refreshments and company.
This was then followed by The Veteran Hotel and Bar, which opened on Ryde Esplanade earlier this year.
The hotel and pub offers accommodation and support for veterans in need and is the first of its kind in the UK.
TV presenter Angelica Bell hosts the short film.
Tony Steyger, from People Media Productions, told the County Press: "The Veterans Project is one of those initiatives that restores faith in human nature.
"The personal story of Dale Hillier who had contemplated suicide twice and had serious PTSD problems following his active involvement in the Falkands war is inspiring.
"The film is a testament to his vision and achievement in providing support for veterans on the Island."
Filming for the short film took place on June 12.
Tomorrow night's episode of The One Show is due to air at 7pm.
