A popular Isle of Wight attraction has been voted the Best Family Attraction in our region in a prestigious national award.

In May, The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary was nominated for the Best Family Attraction in the Muddy Stilettos Awards 2023.

After three rounds, the Sanctuary team discovered last week that they had won the regional category.

The Muddy Stilettos Awards are one of the coveted awards for small independent lifestyle businesses across the country, covering a wide range of categories.

This is the first time an Island attraction has won in this category, and the Sanctuary says it is ‘proud’ that it is them.

A spokesperson said: “It’s all thanks to everyone that voted for us, we are so grateful to you all.”

The attraction is now waiting for the Muddy Editors to decide if the Sanctuary has made it through to the national finals, where they could be named the Best Family Attraction in the UK!
