Isle of Wight Festival-goers travelling to the Island via Hovertravel are facing delays of up to 45 minutes.
The County Press has been told there are queues of people in Southsea, waiting to board the hovercraft.
Readers say a craft has broken down.
The firm, which operates between Southsea and Ryde, has confirmed services are disrupted.

It has apologised for any inconvenience.
It is the second major delay revellers travelling to the Island have encountered so far today.
Earlier today, there were major delays in Southampton following a crash near Red Funnel's ferry terminals.
The collision led to a police road closure.
The road, Town Quay, has since reopened.
