IT’S that time of the year again.
The Isle of Wight Festival is fast approaching, and with just a few days to go before the big weekend, here is a look ahead to the weather.
On Thursday, the sun is due to rear its lovely head with mostly clear skies.
The Met Office is forecasting a sunny day, with temperatures rising to 25C from 1pm.
Wind gusts of around 9mph are likely, and there is just a ten per cent chance of rain from 4pm, so expect a thoroughly hot day.

Friday should be much the same, albeit slightly cooler, with temperatures rising to 24C from 4pm.
Wind gusts of around 9mph are forecast, and again, there is just a ten per cent chance of rain from 4pm.
The Met Office says clouds will creep in at around 1pm and 7pm, but expect clear skies throughout the rest of the day.

On Saturday, temperatures are expected to peak at around 24C, but the Met Office says it will be cloudy throughout.
This will be the same on Sunday and Monday – cloudy, but hot, with a 20 per cent chance of rain.
Temperatures are expected to be marginally colder on Sunday than the previous three days.
