ISLE of Wight RFC joined together to mark the successes of the rugby season at their recent end of season awards night at Northwood House in Cowes.
Club players and supporters gathered to recognise the contribution of players and volunteers throughout the season.
Awards announced on the night were as follows: Chairman's Award — Nathan Tombleson; President's Award — Keith Wallace; Biffa Award — Kieran Leahy; Newcomer Award — Aidan Martin; Second team player of the year — Jacob Wynyard-Wright; First team player of the year — James Webster; Players' player of the year — Ricky Keyes.
The club also held its AGM at their Wootton Rec clubhouse recently.
Officers elected for the 2023-24 season are Dave Metcalfe (president), Stuart Browne (chairman), Kieran Leahy (secretary), George Huish (treasurer), Steve Dixon (membership secretary), Luke Blackman (first team captain).
- Summer touch is on every Wednesday at 6.45pm. All players aged 14 and over are welcome, male and female, and whether they are experienced or complete beginners.
