The Isle of Wight Festival returns this weekend (June 15-18) with a line-up that boasts Robbie Williams, George Ezra, Pulp, The Chemical Brothers, OneRepublic, The Human League and more.
Tens of thousands of music lovers will descend on Newport on Thursday morning (June 15) for four days of partying.
After you’ve danced the night away at the various stages and tents, you’ll need to revive your spirits when the sun comes up.
The site itself has plenty of offerings, and you may even have brought your own eggs and bacon, but what about a morning walk to an Isle of Wight eatery instead?

Here is our pick of the seven best breakfast venues within walking distance of Seaclose Park...
Town Choice (around 1 mile from Isle of Wight Festival site)
Town Choice on Town Lane, located near the shuttle bus stop, boasts a dedicated Festival menu for this year’s music event.
Featuring an award-winning breakfast, available as a veggie option, the friendly team also offers breakfast bagels, muffins and baguettes, as well as 4oz beef and chicken burgers.
The venue features a full of colour, sunny garden area, where you can enjoy a bit of peace and quiet while enjoying a range of milkshakes, hot, cold and alcoholic beverages.
Recently adding alcohol to its menu, the Isle of Wight’s own Mermaid Gin is available, along with prosecco, Hidden Road wine, Birra Moretti, Magners, Kopparberg, Guinness, John Smith’s and Peroni 0 per cent.
The Uber menu will remain as the standard menu, for those seeking their usual Town Choice favourites.
Town Choice is open from 8am Friday and Saturday and 10am on Sunday.

The Blue Door (around 1.1 miles from Isle of Wight Festival site)
The Blue Door in St James’ Square specialises in home-cooked bistro food. Whether your hangover hunger requires a hearty breakfast and a light brunch, the quirky cafe offers an extensive range of breakfast grub.
Exclusive to the bistro, the ‘Blue Door Brunch’ consists of two sausages, three rashers of bacon, mushrooms, two fried eggs, hash browns, tomato, beans, stuffing, and toast, all coming to less than a tenner.
If you’re looking for a more modest meal, The Blue Door offers a wealth of breakfast nibbles, available to view on their menu here.
The Blue Door caters for vegetarians and vegans too, with gluten-free options available on request.

The Castle Inn and The Wheatsheaf (around 1.1 and 1.2 miles from Isle of Wight Festival site)
The Castle Inn, on the High Street, and The Wheatsheaf, in St Thomas’ Square, are both owned by Isle of Wight pub tycoons Simon Cant and Liam White.
Both pubs provide a friendly, warm and traditional place to enjoy a selection of breakfast treats, ales and locally sourced food.
Their Full English breakfasts include two sausages, two bacon, two hash browns, tomato, beans, fried egg, mushroom and toast, including a free tea, coffee or fruit juice.
Breakfasts are available from 8am – 11pm across the Festival weekend.

French Franks (around 1.1 miles from Isle of Wight Festival site)
Found in St Thomas’ Square, French Franks is a deli cafe tendering a range of light breakfast snacks.
French Franks’ morning foods consist of sausage or bacon baguette, toasted bagels, filled croissants, and granola and yoghurt.

The Bargeman's Rest (around 1 mile from Isle of Wight Festival site)
The Bargeman’s Rest is a quaint Island pub found alongside the River Medina in Newport Harbour and is a regular favourite for festival-goers year on year.
The traditional pub offers a breakfast menu, served through to midday, featuring anything and everything you could ever want.
As well as the breakfast menu, the Bargeman’s usual menu is also available throughout the day, with traditional home-cooked pub favourites and great portions.
Open from 9.30am on Friday and Saturday and 10pm on Sunday, The Bargeman’s Rest boasts an impressive selection of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan friendly choices.

Correo Lounge (around 1.2 miles from Isle of Wight Festival site)
Correo Lounge, which celebrated its first birthday earlier this month, boasts an extensive range of breakfast treats, including all-day breakfasts, smashed avocado brunch and triple-stacked buttermilk pancakes.
It would be rude not to mention ‘Big Lounge Breakfast’, consisting of smoked back bacon, Cumberland sausages, hash browns, baked beans, roasted tomatoes, black pudding, button mushrooms, two fried eggs and two slices of toast.
Is that enough to cure your hunger hangover?
If you crave a more lightweight brekkie, Correo Lounge offers breakfast muffins, served with Cumberland sausage, smoked back bacon and a fried egg on a toasted English muffin.
