Isle of Wight ferry firm Wightlink has warned that Ryde Pier will be closed to vehicles tonight (Monday).
As part of the ongoing Ryde Pier Interchange project, the pier will be closed to vehicles and motorcycles overnight to complete resurfacing on the access road.
Foot passengers will be able to get to and from Wightlink’s FastCat terminal as usual and cyclists can access the pier if they push their bikes through the pedestrian gate.
The closure will start at 8pm tonight (June 5) and finish at 5am tomorrow (Tuesday, June 6).
Alternative parking is available at Ryde Esplanade.
A spokesperson said: "If you park your car at the FastCat terminal on Monday and return after 8pm, you won’t be able to drive off the pier until the following day.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to our late evening customers."
