AN ISLE of Wight man will stand trial later this year, accused of attacking a female at a bus stop in Ventnor.
Robert Rowell, of Rew Close, Ventnor, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Tuesday, May 23.
The 25-year-old denied assault by beating in Ventnor, on January 10.
He is accused of assaulting a female at a bus stop, grabbing her phone, punching her in the face and kicking her while she was on the ground.
Mr Rowell saw his case adjourned for a trial at the same venue on August 16.
He was granted unconditional bail until that date.
