The future of a much-loved Isle of Wight pub has been secured as new landlords take the helm.
Islanders Jake Rigby and Peter Greenhalgh say they're 'excited' to have taken over at The Sun Inn, Calbourne.
They have big shoes to fill, having succeeded Kate Goldson and David Whittaker, who retired earlier this month after 17 years.
Although it will be their first time running a pub together, friends Jake and Pete both have vast experience working in the hospitality sector.

Pete started out as a glass collector at Whippingham's The Folly Inn, before going on to manage night clubs and beach bars in Brighton for 16 years.
While Jake, who has also spent seven years in the care sector, has worked in Ryde's Coburgs, among other places.
The pair, who are leasing the pub from the Stonegate Group, met each other while working as doormen in Ryde in 2015.
They told the County Press they are looking forward to unlocking the pub's potential: "We are excited to become part of the community here in Calbourne.
"We aim to continue the spirit of the pub's heritage of home comfort food, with a great drinks selection.
"We will continue to offer exceptional home cooked food for dine in and take away, with daily roasts and specials."
Previous landlords Kate and Dave, accompanied by dog Waggles, bid a fond farewell on May 1.
Jake and Pete took over as of May 2.
The pub is open now.
