The Isle of Wight Met Service is warning of 'very poor visibility' in some parts of the Island as thick fog moves in.
The forecaster has issued an advisory for fog.
It came into place at 7pm and is expected to last until 8am tomorrow (Sunday).
The Met Service said: "Low cloud and hill fog will thicken and lower, perhaps even dipping to sea level in places, especially in the west and south of the island.
"The route from Shanklin to Ventnor (via Cowleaze) will be affected at first as well as the route from Niton to Blackgang, but gradually affecting most elevated coastal routes along in the south and east of the island.
"Perhaps affecting the downs from Brading to Newport through the evening and overnight."
The advice is to take care on the roads, as fog could lead to hazardous conditions.
