Island Line has warned that it will be running fewer trains than usual between Ryde and Shanklin into this evening (Monday, May 1).
The train provider said due to a shortage of train crew, some scheduled journeys may be 'subject to short notice cancellation'.
Disruption across Island Line is expected to continue until 7pm.
Train tickets will be accepted, at no extra cost, on Southern Vectis bus routes two and three, during this time.
A spokesperson from South Western Railway said: "For further information or onward travel advice, please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
