Islanders are among those taking on the Isle of Wight challenge this weekend - up to 106km.
Raising money for charity, they set off from Chale and will walk a circular route, taking in Freshwater, Ryde, Newport and Bembridge, along the way.
Penny Langborne was hoping to walk for Mountbatten, in memory of her dad, Dr John Smith.
She has been forced to pull out of the 65 mile route, due to a family emergency.
She told the Isle of Wight County Press she was astounded by the generosity of her supporters and planned to undertake the walk as soon as possible.

Travelling to the Island to take part is the CEO of one of Prostate Cancer UK.
Laura Kerby, of Stroud, Gloucestershire is accompanied by her team, The Cheeserollers and together, they will raise money for the largest men’s health charity.
Raising money for RSPCA Isle of Wight, Vanessa Cox and Hannah Allen-Western are takinng on the Ultra challenge this weekend.
The animal care assistants are raising much-needed funds for the animals in the charity’s care.
Vanessa is returning after completing 2022's epic challenge in 36 hours and 46 minutes.
Steven Turner is taking on the challenge to raise money for the charity Target Ovarian Cancer.
He lost his wife to the condition in September 2022, after she was diagnosed at Stage four.
He warns it is an all too common experience, because the symptoms are subtle.
Target Ovarian Cancer aims to raise awareness of the symptoms among women and doctors.
