The Isle of Wight Council has confirmed that rubbish and recycling services will not be affected over the May Day (May 1) bank holiday.
It means no bin collection changes for Islanders.
There will be no change to your waste/recycling collection service at any point during the week commencing Monday, May 1.

Island recycling centre opening times will also see no changes.
Reuse and bulky waste collections will continue as normal.
A council spokesperson said: “We do ask that Monday collection residents place their waste or recycling out early as normal by 7am on May 1.”
