Isle of Wight beauty salon, Dani's Beauty Room, has been named the County Press Beauty Therapist of the Year, after public nominations and a vote.

Run by Dani Lyons-Davis, the business is based in Northwood.

Dani trained in Surrey and helped manage two salons, before moving to her own space, behind a hairdressers in Newport.

Since then, she has opened her home-based beauty room.

Dani told us: "We had our one year business anniversary this week, so to win an award is amazing.

"I'm constantly doing more training and offering new treatments, to keep up with all the newest trends."
