An Isle of Wight voice actor, who has worked for Netflix, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, FedEx and more, has won a national nomination at the industry’s leading awards.
Emma Topping has worked in broadcasting and communications for over two decades.
She took the opportunity to set up her own voiceover business towards the end of the Covid-19 pandemic and since launching, in December 2021, Emma has become the voice for household names, through TV and radio commercials and corporate video narration.
Her One Voice award nomination recognises her work on e-learning courses, for national company Navitas Safety.
She is one of seven people in the running for best overall performance in the e-learning category.
Emma said: "It’s been such a whirlwind first year in business and I’ve been hugely fortunate to work with some of the biggest global companies, but also some really great small UK businesses, recording their on-hold phone messages and voice overs for website videos.
"The award nomination really topped off an incredible year.
"I’m so thankful just to be named alongside some top voiceover talent - whether I’m lucky enough to win, or not."
The One Voice Awards ceremony will be held on May 13, in London.
