Water tankers have been parked up along a Shanklin road all week, with traffic lights controlling vehicle flow around them.
Several Southern Water tankers have been in situ along Church Road.
They are needed due to an influx of tourists putting pressure on the water network, the utility company told the County Press.
A spokesperson said: "We’re experiencing some fluctuating pressures in our network – due to an influx Easter holidaymakers and our tankers are being used to keep pressure up for our customers."
The County Press has asked for further information.
